Create & edit with AI
Write useful prompts, add references, and review generated changes.
Describe the result you want
Include the project’s purpose, parts, known voltages and pinouts, and any layout constraints. Specify how many independent plans or floors you need and give them names.
Use Floor Plan or Electronics for their reference-upload options. Generate with AI starts from a text description. Only upload material you have permission to use.
Change an existing project
Switch to the plan or floor you want to edit, then choose Edit with AI. Describe what should change and what should stay. Review the preview before applying it.
To split a layout, ask for separate named plans. Other existing plans stay in the project. To create only a reusable part, use Create part with AI in the library.
Check the result
Review every connector, pin mapping, voltage, and cable branch. Uploaded schematics and part URLs are references, not a guarantee of verified specifications. Missing details may be assumptions.
AI is a planning aid. It cannot establish electrical safety or code compliance. Correct the generated result before building.
Credits and privacy
A typical project uses about 1,000 credits, a small edit about 100–300, and a new part about 100–200. Larger sections, more parts and cables, references, and complex changes use more. The estimate and maximum appear before you generate. Failed or cancelled requests return their credit. Check Account for your balance or read Manage your plan.
AI requests send your prompt, relevant plan or part data, and supplied references to the Grok API provider. Manual editing does not send your canvas to AI. See AI data handling.
