Who operates Wirecharm

AIRGAP STUDIO, LLC operates Wirecharm. For privacy questions or requests, contact us.

What we process

• Account data: email, account identifier, verification status, and sign-in information provided through Firebase Authentication and your chosen sign-in provider.
• Project data: saved plans, part definitions, wiring, notes, and included floor images. Browser saves stay on your device; cloud saves are stored with your account.
• AI requests: prompts, relevant project or part data, uploaded references, supplied URLs, and generated results when you use AI.
• Billing data: plan, credit balance and activity, payment identifiers, payment status, and auto-refill authorization. Stripe processes payment details. Wirecharm does not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: cloud project counts and visibility, AI request counts and operation types, and directory approval records for service administration.
• Support and technical data: messages you send us and service logs such as IP address, request time, errors, and browser information.

Why we use it

We use data to provide the editor, authenticate accounts, save work, generate requested AI results, process payments, manage credits, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

AI data handling

Using AI sends your prompt, relevant plan or part content, and supplied references to the Grok API provider. Editing with AI includes the current plan data needed for the change. Manual editing does not send your canvas to AI. Browser-only storage does not prevent data from being sent when you request AI.

We request that conversation history not be stored. This does not guarantee zero provider retention: the provider’s security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. Reference PDFs are uploaded temporarily; we request deletion after the request and set a one-hour expiry as a fallback. Read the provider’s API data and security information.

Avoid including passwords, access codes, payment details, or sensitive personal information in prompts or references.

Service providers and sharing

Google Cloud and Firebase provide hosting, cloud storage, and authentication. Stripe provides checkout, subscriptions, and payment management. The Grok API provider processes requested AI features. Our email provider processes support correspondence. The contact form uses temporary hashed anti-spam records and sends your message with your email as the reply address. Public projects and Unlisted links share project content with people who can access them. Administrators review Public projects for directory listing and can view account and service activity statistics.

We share data with these providers as needed to operate the service. We may also disclose it when legally required, to protect the service or others, or during a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. Data may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our providers.

Browser storage and cookies

Wirecharm uses browser storage to keep local projects, part catalogs, preferences, and sign-in state. Guest work and different accounts have separate local libraries. Clearing site data can remove local work; export a backup first.

A functional cookie remembers whether you have seen the welcome examples for up to one year. An HttpOnly session cookie protects the administrator page. We do not add advertising trackers. Authentication and payment providers may use their own cookies or storage for sign-in, security, and payment processing.

Retention and deletion

Cloud projects and parts remain until you delete them or your account. Operational logs and support correspondence are kept as needed for service, security, and follow-up. Billing records may be retained for accounting, disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Account deletion removes account content, but does not remove exported files or copies on your device. We retain a minimal hashed email claim to prevent repeatedly claiming Starter credits, plus necessary payment and abuse-prevention records. Providers may retain records under their own obligations.

Your choices and requests

You can export projects, delete cloud projects, and delete your account from the editor. Cancel any subscription and disable auto-refill before account deletion. You can use manual editing and browser saves without requesting AI.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal data, or object to or restrict processing. Contact us to make a request. We may verify account ownership before acting. You may also contact your local privacy regulator.

Children and updates

Wirecharm is not intended for children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.

We post policy updates here with a revised date. We will communicate material changes to how we handle personal data.
